The Black Keys

It’s been twenty years since The Black Keys, from Akron, Ohio, USA released their debut album The Big Come Up. Meanwhile, they’re now up to their eleventh long player: Dropout Boogie. The music of the five-time Grammy-winning duo consisting of singer/guitarist Dan Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney is more varied than before, while their sound is simultaneously vintage and familiar. They bring a blend of blues, boogie, groove and rock, that pummels, perspires, rattles and steamrolls, and is ideal festival material. You can count on a spontaneous, full-on old-style rock ‘n roll party, packed with effervescent feel-good sing- and jump along songs.
