PINKPOP, the Netherlands’ oldest and most famous pop festival will have its 51st edition in 2021, a unique record!
At the festival site in Landgraaf, you will enjoy over 50 top music acts on four stages (open-air and covered) for three days. Besides the large main site, you will find some smaller, more intimate areas, like the Kalm Aan Laan (Take-It-Easy Lane) that offers different foods and drinks and the possibility to relax a little.
You can stay overnight at one of the official Pinkpop camping sites. At the camping sites A, B and C you stay for free if you have a weekend ticket. At camping site B you can book an upgrade through Festitent: no lugging around with heavy camping gear but ease into the camping mode! If you wish to party on through the night, Camping B offers a night programme.

Access/ticket
In order to make use of the facilities for people with special needs, you need a valid entrance ticket. There are no discounts for people with special needs or accompanying parties. Each festival goer pays the same price.
Parking / Kiss & ride
A parking and Kiss & ride area for people with special needs will be established as close as possible to the entrance of the festival area and Camping site A. Since the number of places here is limited, don’t wait too long with your application!
Festival site
There is a separate, easily accessible and less crowded entrance for people with special needs. One helper can join entering here. Guide dogs are allowed at both the festival and camping sites. Folding chairs are not allowed at the festival.
Near the Stages there are platforms for wheelchair users, people on crutches and with other special needs (and one companion) to enjoy their favorite bands. Of course, the platforms are intended for people with special needs in the first place. If they get too crowded, Inter assistants will request the companions to leave the platform.
There are toilets for persons with special needs spread around the festival site. There are Inter assistants available at the festival (near the wheelchair platforms for instance). They can help you if necessary: to visit the toilets, buy food or drinks, when you have a problem with your wheelchair, et cetera.
Camping
A special zone of camping site A will be reserved for people with special needs. Friends and family are also welcome there (with a maximum of two companions and only with a valid ticket). Please note: capacity is limited here, so don’t wait too long with your application!
Inter assistants will be available to help you pitch your tent, move your baggage or visit the toilets, etcetera. There are special-needs toilets and showers. There is also a special area with an adjustable bed and equipment to charge your electrical wheelchair or fix flat tires. This camping site is part of the regular Pinkpop site, so make sure you carry your valid wristband and tickets!
Mobility scooters
Mobility scooters are only allowed at the festival site on medical advice. Place your request for approval of your scooter at pinkpop@inter.vlaanderen well on time!
Cherish your ears. You do still want to enjoy music the rest of your life, and at Pinkpop too? We feel this is very important as well and for this reason we honour the decibel limit of 103 dB(A) and support the campaign I Love My Ears of the platform Celebrate Safeand offer hearing protection.
Ear plugs can be bought at all bars. There is also a large Alpine stand at the festival area, where you can find more upmarket hearing protection.
Wearing hearing protection is important, but giving your ears some peace and quiet, too. Go find a quieter spot to give your ears a break every so often. The ‘Kalm Aan Laan’ or the ‘Garden of Love’ are very suitable for this. More information about preventing loss of hearing, and other tips for responsible festival visitors, you can find at www.celebratesafe.nl and www.ilovemyears.nl.
Activists come in all shapes and sizes. They stand up for LGBTIQ+ rights in Poland and Hungary or they fight against discrimination and racism in the Netherlands. They take to the streets with placards, fists clenched in the air or they sign a petition online. Pinkpop offers all the possibilities to take action. Go to the Amnesty booth and come up with a protest slogan or make a button. Sign the petition for the freedom of activists in Saudi Arabia, have a conversation about what matters to you in the world or make a personal poster to show that you stand for mutual consent in the poster machine. Amnesty activists print it out on the spot and stick it on the protest wall.
You can also become an activist by purchasing the legendary Pinkpop hat. Amnesty is bringing the historic twice postponed version of 2020 along, but also has a special version with them to celebrate that they are back at Pinkpop. So a lot to choose from and you support Amnesty’s work for a better world.
Even when yu don’t vitis Pinkpop this year you can still purchase the Amnesty bucket hat!
At the festival area of Pinkpop you can use the charging service. Here you can rent a powerbank to charge your phone. You rent a powerbank for 1,5 coins & 5 coins deposit. You can hand in this powerbank at the campsite or on the festival site. We have a cable for you for 1 coin but you can also bring your own USB cable. You can find the Charging Service next to the merchandise at the Tent Stage on the festival site.
The organization follows the current government guidelines at all times.
The minimum age to visit Pinkpop without supervision is 12 years.
Bringing children to Pinkpop is possible but under supervision. They must also be in possession of a valid entrance ticket. As a deliberate measure to discourage parents from taking their (small) children, there is no reduced rate for children. The organization therefore advises against taking small children to an event that is visited so massively.
Small digital cameras are allowed, but photo equipment with interchangeable lenses (all sizes) and large professional cameras and action cameras (like GoPro) are not. The same goes for film and/or sound-recording equipment, in any shape or form. Senior security staff will have the final say in case of doubt.
If you use medication that you need to bring along to the festival site, make sure to bring along the original package and your doctor’s statement. This way there will be no unnecessary misunderstandings with security staff. If you need to keep your medication refrigerated, you can turn to the various Red Cross posts at the festival site and camping sites.
Are you breastfeeding? There are special lactation locations at the Red Cross posts. You can also refrigerate your breastmilk here and pick it up again before you go home. Do bring your own lactation machine, you can also store it at the Red Cross posts. For the exact location of these facilities, go to the info desk at the festival site or a Red Cross post.
