By train

Pinkpop is easily accessible by train. NS and Arriva will schedule extra trains to Landgraaf. With the multi-day Pinkpop return ticket, of €19, you can travel to Pinkpop 2019 for a fairly low price. Purchase this 2nd class return ticket during or after your have purchased your ticket through www.ticketmaster.nl (ordering is possible until June 4th, 23:59).

Beware: due to construction work at the Heerlen train station, the platforms there have limited capacity. You are advised not to transfer at this station. When travelling from Landgraaf to Heerlen and beyond, preferably take a direct NS intercity. When Heerlen is your final stop, or when you are traveling to Maastricht, you are advised to take the local Arriva train. Please note that should follow up the directions of the train personnel at all times.

Shuttle trains to and from Landgraaf

Extra shuttle trains will run between Heerlen station and Landgraaf every festival day.

  • In Heerlen, the first train to Landgraaf departs at 06:13 AM each day
  • From Landgraaf, the last train to Heerlen departs at 01:47 AM on Friday, Saturday and Monday. On Sunday, the last train departs at 03:17 AM.
  • On Tuesday June 11th, extra trains will run from Landgraaf to Heerlen between 07:19 AM and 12:49 PM, twice per hour.

Shuttle buses between Landgraaf station and the festival site

Shuttle buses will run between Landgraaf station and the festival site. Please note: When the crowd is too large (huge masses of people) the buses will not run for reasons of safety.

Saturday
On Saturday night extra direct trains will run from Landgraaf to Eindhoven. Some trains in Eindhoven will connect with a night train to the Randstad.

  • Departure time last train from Landgraaf to Eindhoven: 01:47 AM
  • Departure time last train from Heerlen to Maastricht: 2:02 AM

Sunday
On Saturday extra direct trains will run from Landgraaf to Eindhoven. Some trains in Eindhoven will connect with a night train to the Randstad.

  • Departure time last train from Heerlen to Maastricht: 03:32 AM

On Monday night extra direct trains will run from Landgraaf to Eindhoven.

THE EASY PINKPOP RETURN TICKET WITH A FIXED PRICE OF €19.

Buy your one-way or return ticket to Pinkpop. Using the multi-day Pinkpop return ticket, you can travel to the festival on Friday June 7th, Saturday June 8th or Sunday June 9th or Monday June 10th. For your departure this ticket is valid until Monday June 11th. The Pinkpop return ticket is available through www.Ticketmaster.nl. (ordering is possible until June 10th 04:00 PM).

Following the festival, no regular bus or train tickets will be sold in Landgraaf. So, either buy a Pinkpop return ticket or bring your OV-chip card. Just make sure you have made your travel arrangements beforehand and there is sufficient balance on your OV-chip card. Your ticket or OV-chip card will be checked upon entering the Landgraaf station. Don’t forget to check out!

OV-Chip Card

Traveling with an OV-Chip card? Normally you would have to check out in Heerlen with NS and check in with Arriva again. In order to ensure a speedy transit to the Arriva train, this is not necessary while traveling to Pinkpop. In Landgraaf you will have to check out with NS only.

By bike

Are you coming from the Limburg region? Take your bike! Cycling is healthy, better for the environment, you don’t have to deal with traffic jams and you can park in front of the festival site! You will have access to the guarded bicycle storage 24 hours a day.

By bus (combi)

Bus trip at various points in the Netherlands (optional + Pinkpop ticket)

DRIVING TO PINKPOP 2019

PLEASE NOTE: always turn off your navigation system!

  • For parking sites ‘Vijfbunderweg’ and ‘Mondo Verde’, follow the ‘P’ signs (please note that your ticket is valid only for the parking site mentioned on it)
  • For the KISS & RIDE Camping site, follow ‘P Mondo verde’ signs until the Mensheggerweg, then follow ‘Kiss & Ride’ signs
  • For non-campers going to the KISS & RIDE (one-day and weekend visitors), follow the ‘K&R’ signs directly from all main roads.

 

Coming from other parts of the country

Recommended quick route

On the A2, the route ‘Pinkpop volg 96’ route starts at the exit ‘Born-Nieuwstad’. Following this route to arrive at Landgraaf. Here you can follow the signs to the parking sites or the K&R.

 

Coming from Maastricht – Take the A79 to Heerlen, then follow the signs to the parking sites or the K&R.

Coming from Belgium – Take A76 to Aachen, then follow the signs to the parking sites or the K&R.

Coming from Germany – Take A76 to Aachen, then follow the signs to the parking sites or the K&R.

 

BlaBlaCar

Coming to Pinkpop and have seats available? Or are you looking for transportation? With BlaBlaCar you can find a fellow passenger willing to share the ride and the costs, or a driver who can take you to Pinkpop for a good price. Make sure you agree on the terms: such as whether you fancy exchanging your life stories or not and, of course, what music to play in the car! Parking

The logistics of the major parking areas surrounding the festival site and the Pinkpop camping sites are carried out by the council of Landgraaf. Pinkpop can’t be held responsible for the organization and rates.

From Friday June 7th, 3PM onwards, there are two large parking lots in Landgraaf where you can park your car (at a certain rate).

The parking locations are:

  • Location Parking at Vijfbunderweg (next to campingsite C)
  • Location Parking of Wereldtuinen Mondo Verde (across campingsite B)

There will be supervision at these parking lots.

There are two ways to buy your parking ticket:

Beforehand while buying your Pinkpop ticket online (www.ticketmaster.nl):

Location Vijfbunderweg:
One day: €15 (excluding 10% service costs)
Weekend (Friday up until Tuesday): €30 (excluding 10% service costs)

Location Mondo Verde:
One day: €15 (excluding 10% service costs)
Weekend (Friday up until Tuesday): €40 (excluding 10% service costs)

On the spot:

Location Vijfbunderweg:
One day: €20 (excluding 10% service costs)
Weekend (Friday up until Tuesday): €30 (excluding 10% service costs)

Location Mondo Verde:
One day: €15 (excluding 10% service costs)
Weekend (Friday up until Tuesday): €40 (excluding 10% service costs)

Don’t forget to ask for a receipt.

There is a parking ban in the Einsteinstraat, Hofstraat and Mensheggerweg. The council of Landgraaf applies an expensive towing arrangement.

Motor bikes

Visitors that come to Pinkpop by motor bike are suggested to park their motor bike at the parking of Relim at the Tunnelweg in Landgraaf.

 

Kiss & Ride

You don’t want to walk too far? Let your driver drop you off and pick you up as close to the festival and camping sites as possible at the specially located KISS & RIDE locations.

Shuttle buses will drive between the Festival ground, Pinkpop camping sites, the train station and the parking areas. All Pinkpop shuttle buses are free of charge for Pinkpop visitors!
There are two different routes:

ROUTE 1
Landgraaf train station > Einsteinstraat (bus stop campingsite B) > Voltastraat (bus stop festival site and campingsite A) > Landgraaf train station.

ROUTE 2
Especially for visitors staying at campingsite C or parking at Vijfbunderweg.
Landgraaf train station > Dr. Calsstraat (bus stop campingsite C, parking Vijfbunderweg) > Einsteinstraat (bus stop campingsite B) > Voltastraat (bus stop festival site and campingsite A) > Landgraaf train station.

TIME SCHEDULE ROUTE 1 AND ROUTE 2
• Friday June 7th: 5 PM – 11 PM
• Saturday June 8th: 8 AM – 11 PM
• Sunday June 9th: 8 AM – Midnight
• Monday June 10th: 8 AM – 11 PM
• Tuesday June 11th: 7 AM – Noon
Beware: during extreme crowds, the busses will not drive due to safety reasons.

Accessibility for people with special needs

In close collaboration with INTER Pinkpop ensures that the festival is also accessible to people with special needs. Do you wish to make use of the facilities for people with special needs at the festival site, parking and/or Camping site A? Fill out aanvraagformulier and don’t forget to add your doctor’s statement!

Access/ticket
In order to make use of the facilities for people with special needs, you need a valid entrance ticket. There are no discounts for people with special needs or accompanying parties. Each festival goer pays the same price.

Parking / Kiss & ride
A parking and Kiss & ride area for people with special needs will be established as close as possible to the entrance of the festival area and Camping site A. Since the number of places here is limited, don’t wait too long with your application!

Festival site
There is a separate, easily accessible and less crowded entrance for people with special needs. One helper can join entering here. Guide dogs are allowed at both the festival and camping sites. Folding chairs are not allowed at the festival.

Near the Mainstage, the IBA Parkstad Stage and the Brightlands Stage there are platforms for wheelchair users, people on crutches and with other special needs (and one companion) to enjoy their favorite bands. Of course, the platforms are intended for people with special needs in the first place. If they get too crowded, Inter assistants will request the companions to leave the platform.

There are toilets for persons with special needs spread around the festival site. There are Inter assistants available at the festival (near the wheelchair platforms for instance). They can help you if necessary: to visit the toilets, buy food or drinks, when you have a problem with your wheelchair, et cetera.

Camping
A special zone of camping site A will be reserved for people with special needs. Friends and family are also welcome there (with a maximum of two companions and only with a valid ticket).Please note: capacity is limited here, so don’t wait too long with your application!

Inter assistants will be available to help you pitch your tent, move your baggage or visit the toilets, etcetera. There are special-needs toilets and showers. There is also a special area with an adjustable bed and equipment to charge your electrical wheelchair or fix flat tires.
This camping site is part of the regular Pinkpop site, so make sure you carry your valid wristband and tickets!

Mobility scooters
Please note that mobility scooters aren’t allowed at the festival site for security reasons. However, there is a spot near the entrance, where you can park your scooter and exchange it for a regular wheelchair. Make sure you request one on time!
