Young Marcus King from Greenville, South Carolina, might be just twenty-two but he’s already one of the leading lights of Southern Rock. An old soul, and stuffed full of soul. As well as a virtuoso on his guitar (a Gibson 345 from 1962, once owned by his grandpa). Musician’s blood has been flowing through the King family veins for four generations now. In young Marcus – supported by his driving five-strong backing band – this results in scintillating blues-rock, with horns. Uplifting and psychedelic, like you will only find in the Deep South of the USA.
