No stranger to Landgraaf, this son of an Italian father and English mother, who grew up in Switzerland. ‘Capricious ballads for tough guys and beautiful girls’, is how we described his musical wares here in 2017, and the description still holds true. There is a new album, however: Singing To Strangers. On which Jack Savoretti once again – thanks largely to his attractively different rasping voice (complete with slight Italian accent) – manages to sound just that bit better than most singer-songwriters out there today.
