Think of Pinkpop, and you think of Krezip (and vice versa). Their breakthrough single I Would Stay was helped on its way by the backdrop of Pinkpop 2000, where the then ridiculously young band from Tilburg celebrated the unexpected success of their debut Nothing Less. Jacqueline Govaert and co have now graced the Pinkpop boards five times, but they didn’t always make the poster: in 2007 Amy Winehouse pulled out, and in 2009 Depeche Mode. Both times, Krezip jumped in to save the day. Ten years on from their farewell, it’s high time for their highly anticipated reunion. At Pinkpop, of course. Where else?
