Pinkpop is pleased to announce the first act for the 50th edition. FLEETWOOD MAC, one of the most influential rock groups of all times will come to Landgraaf in 2019. With the confirmation of FLEETWOOD MAC, the anniversary edition of the festival now has one of the three finishing acts. Pinkpop 2019 will traditionally take place during the Pentecost Weekend, on Saturday, Sunday and Monday 8, 9 & 10 June at the festival site of Megaland in Landgraaf. Pinkpop ticket sale will start on Saturday 16 March 2019 through and other Ticketmaster box office.

With their line-up including Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Stevie Nicks, Christine McVie and newcomers Mike Campbell and Neil Finn, Fleetwood Mac is the first cherry to adorn the birthday cake for Pinkpop’s anniversary edition. In 2019 the festival will celebrate its 50th edition and of course Fleetwood Mac will be a cherished birthday guest.

“Fleetwood Mac has always been about an amazing collection of songs that are performed with a unique blend of talents. We jammed with Mike and Neil and the chemistry really worked and let the band realize that this is the right combination to go forward with in Fleetwood Mac style. We know we have something new, yet it’s got the unmistakable Mac sound,” said Mick Fleetwood.

The 50th edition of Pinkpop will take place Saturday, Sunday and Monday 8, 9 and 10 June 2019, at the familiar site of Megaland in Landgraaf. The traditional press presentation for the publication of the complete program will take place on Wednesday 13 March 2019 at the legendary pop venue Paradiso in Amsterdam. The presale will start on Saturday 16 March 2019. Please beware: before the start of this official presale, tickets can already be on offer. Do not buy these; they are not official tickets!

Since 1990, Pinkpop is published in the Great Guinness Book of Records as the oldest annual pop festival in the world. The first edition took place 18 May 1970 in Geleen, where Pinkpop was held 17 times. In 1987 there was a one-time edition in Baarlo.
